Brick Street Burger Battle - Downtown Edition

Eateries to battle for best burger bragging rights

Beginning Thursday, September 15, locals and visitors will have the opportunity to join in the fun as downtown Nac kicks off its first Brick Street Burger Battle. 8 downtown eateries will create a special burger battle recipe for patrons to devour. We ask participants to snap a picture of themselves while biting into that burger, use the hashtag # BrickStreetBattles, and upload it to FB or Instagram for a chance to win cash prizes.* Every location will have wallet-sized game cards. Hold on to your card, as each locale has a space to stamp with its own unique brand. The more burger locations visited, the greater the cash prize offered. The game card will also have a place for people to vote for their favorite burger. Completed game cards can be dropped off at the Visitor Center located in the heart of downtown at 200 E. Main Street up until Friday, October 21st by 5:00 pm to qualify. Winners will be announced the following Sunday, October 23nd at 3:00 pm, at Fredonia Brewery, 138 North Mound Street. Winners do not have to be present to win.

Patrons consuming burgers will be entered in a drawing to win cash prizes as follows:

2 to 3 burgers eaten: $100
4 to 6 burgers eaten: $250
7 to 8 burgers eaten: $500

*Eligibility to win cash prizes is available without uploading pictures. Simply complete the game card and turn it into the Visitor Center (CVB) office at 200 E. Main Street Nacogdoches, TX.
