The Lighted Christmas Parade has been a Nacogdoches tradition for many years. It started as a part of the Nine Flags festival, organized by the CVB. In 2015, the event was turned over to Nacogdoches Area United Way, whose volunteers were proud to continue the tradition. Parade entries come from local businesses, schools, churches, and individuals, and include decorated floats, vehicles, and walking groups. All entries must include lighting! The event culminates with an annual fireworks display south of downtown for all guests to enjoy once the parade has exited the area.
