Join us for Thursdays in the Garden at the Durst-Taylor Historic House and Gardens! Learn about an 1800s homestead through fun crafts and activities. Great for children 2 to 10 years old.
Thursdays in the Garden are every other Thursday from September 12th-November 21st. This program is free and open to the public.
Crafts & Activities:
September 12th: clothespin dolls and potato sack races
September 26th: butter demonstration and pioneer word search
October 10th: pinecone bird feeder, Drop the Handkerchief game, and Simon Says
October 24th: paper plate farm animal craft, On Our Way West game, and tag
November 7th: popsicle stick western puppets and clothespin drop game
November 21st: cornucopia craft, Tell the History of the First Thanksgiving, and make a “My Thankful Book
