SFA Garden Lecture Series

The Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series welcomes special guest Grant Stephenson of Horticultural Consultants Inc., Houston, Texas as he presents Understanding Palms to Understand Their Needs to Thrive in the Landscape. The lecture will take place in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Center at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center.

The Old Stone Fort Bike Ride

March 18, 2017
Take a scenic 25-mile, 36-mile or 62-mile ride through the oldest town in Texas at the inaugural Old Stone Fort Bike Ride. Once you cross the finish line, enjoy local food, live music and more. This a great pre-training event for the Memorial Ironman Texas.

Little Princess Tea Party

Azalea Art Day

April 8, 2017
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Sterne-Hoya House Museum & Library, 211 S. Lanana St.
Enjoy hands-on crafts and activities, some with historic roots, centered around the beautiful azalea plants at the Sterne-Hoya House Museum & Library. Crafts will include: flower pounding, homemade sun catchers, bubble painting and other activities. This event is free and appropriate for all ages. Some activities may be messy, so please dress appropriately.
