Stone Fort Museum Birthday Bash!

Join us in saying, ‘Happy 90th Birthday” to the Stone Fort Museum with games, great music and birthday cake! The party begins at noon with a celebration of another birthday – El Camino Real Day marks the anniversary of the Camino Real’s designation as a National Historic Trail in 2004. The museum is introducing two new board games, Wait, Whose Story is This? and Traveling El Camino Real de los Tejas, created by SFA Public History graduate students. Bring a friend and join the fun! At 2 p.m., gather under the big tent on the north lawn for music by El Camino Real de Nacogdoches. The band group plays old-time acoustic music using the fiddle, guitars, mandolin, banjos and percussion. Grab a traditional (non-alcoholic) party punch at the museum bar while you munch on peanuts and pretzels. Grab a slice of birthday cake at 3 p.m. and take a seat for more music!
