Fredonia Brewery

Nestled one block from the brick streets in historic downtown Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, sits our brewery. Our name originates from the short-lived, albeit influential, Fredonia Rebellion and the Fredonia Republic 1826 -1827. This uprising signaled the beginning of the Texas Revolution. We are proud to be the first brewery here since the 1850s. Our beers are "Brewed with the independent spirit that created Texas," which is our motto we believe in, heart and soul. We are excited to bring craft brewing to the town, community, and state that we love. Our taproom is open Wednesday-Sunday, and we offer a variety of beers on tap to enjoy on-premise as well as growlers to take home and enjoy with friends and family. On top of having a beautiful brew house, we also have a newly updated taproom that is surrounded by local tongue and groove yellow pine, and the bar has a massive timber frame made from local yellow pine beams. The bar top is made from black walnut that was struck by lightning in Nacogdoches County. The taproom extends out onto our covered patio and beer garden. Enjoy sipping a cold one on the patio or under one of our many pergolas in our beer garden on one of our large hand-crafted tables and benches. We also house a very unique 2400+ can collection that has been collected since 1959 and is displayed behind a glass wall in our tap room. We have 5 big screen TVs throughout the brewery, so you don't miss a moment of the big game. We have a handful of flagship beers on tap year-round, as well as limited and seasonal brews throughout the year. Our taproom manager also makes homemade Root Beer for the non-drinkers and kiddos. We also serve wine, cider, and mead from local wineries & meaderies around Texas; that way, we have something for everyone! One interesting fact is that most of our brews are named after something that resembles our great city, Nacogdoches. Make sure you bring your thirst and appetite because we have an amazing lineup of local food trucks for you to enjoy, PLUS our very own Rebellion Pizza Kitchen! Every Friday and Saturday night, we host local musicians on our stage as well as a variety of special events, including weekly trivia, karaoke, club nights, dog events, and more!
