Pilgrim's Park / SFA Baseball Feilds

Situated approximately three miles northwest of the Stephen F. Austin State University campus, Pilgrims's Park has served as the home of the Lumberjack baseball team since the program was reinstated in 2006. SFA's home field is the focal point of the Nacogdoches City Baseball Complex and has dimensions of 320' down the right and left field lines and 390' to straightaway center. Headed into the 2018 campaign, SFA is closing in on 200 wins at Pilgrim's Park after posting a 21-7 (.750) record inside the facility in 2017. In all, the 'Jacks have posted a 174-135 (.563) record during their 12 seasons at their home digs. Prior to the start of the 2009 season, Pilgrim's Park underwent a renovation process that featured the addition of a 740-seat bleacher system. Included in that bleacher system were 140 chairback seats and in addition to the upgraded fan seating a press box was constructed. The final piece of the renovation was an awning which covered both the press box and bleachers. Further upgrades to the facility occurred in the spring of 2017 when a covered deck area along the left field line presented a new, premium seating opportunity for fans to enjoy games at the facility. The Dugout Club seating also includes built-in grills for fans to enjoy food before, during and after SFA games. Another popular - and unique - seating area is located directly behind the left field fence where a steel deck offers fans a chance to take in games from a vantage point closest to the field's parking lot. A popular place for SFA students to watch the 'Jacks, the occupants of that space go by the well-earned moniker Left Field Lunatics.
