A 300-acre woodland, Stag Leap overlooks the deep Bonaldo Creek and has miles of lush nature trails winding throughout that guests can enjoy by foot or golf cart. With seven private cabins to choose from, we are sure to have what you’re looking for, whether for a short getaway or an extended stay. Antlers Log Cabin: Sleeps up to 10. Three guest rooms each with a private bath, large airy living room/meeting room, full kitchen, smart TVs, wrap-around porch with lots of seating, outdoor jacuzzi tub, picturesque wooded setting. This cabin can be used for retreats, reunions, and meetings. Harts Landing: Sleeps up to 5. A lovely 2-bedroom, 2 bath cabin, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, jacuzzi tub, and large deck. The luxurious master suite is spacious and has its own private deck. This cabin is perfect for a honeymoon or for family or friends looking for quality time in the peaceful pineywoods. Treehouse: Sleeps up to 5. Mimicking a beach house on stilts, this cabin provides a bird’s-eye view of the forest. A loft bedroom overlooks the downstairs living room, which has a glassed wall for splendid views of the tree tops. A full kitchen, smart TV, and an in-unit washer & dryer makes this cabin perfect for both short getaways and extended stays. Doe Stowey: Sleeps up to 3. A romantic cottage surrounded by tall hickory trees, this cabin has ten-foot ceilings, a main room with a king-sized bed, sitting area, smart TV, an electric fireplace for ambience, a window seat, fully equipped kitchen, and a bath with a large marble shower. Tall windows bring the outside in, but a covered porch and wrap-around deck lead to an outdoor jacuzzi garden tub for full relaxation. Patio furniture overlooks a hidden garden and allows for enjoyable outdoor time. Great for honeymoons and special occasions. Bucks Head: Sleeps up to 3. This beautiful cabin features a king-sized bed, sitting area, electric fireplace, indoor jacuzzi tub, shower, smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar, and a window seat for gazing into the surrounding forest. French doors lead out onto a private patio with comfortable seating. It’s the perfect place for couples to reconnect. Creek Cabin: Sleeps up to 4. Sitting on the edge of the high bank of the Bonaldo Creek, this cabin offers ultimate views of the pineywoods. It has a king-sized bed, sitting area, fully equipped kitchen, electric fireplace, satellite TV, and a bath with a shower only. A sun room serves as the perfect perch for gazing at the creek below, a dining area, and extra bedding for young guests. It’s a true couples or small family retreat. Meadows: Sleeps 2 only. We affectionately call this the “tiny house,” but we’ve packed everything you need into one single-layer space, including a queen-sized bed and a fully stocked kitchen. This cabin has a bathroom with a shower only, a smart TV, a desk, and an armoire for hanging clothes. It is used primarily for extended stays. All cabins have free WiFi, thermostatically controlled heating and AC, charcoal grills, and fire pits. A hot tub is on the property and can be reserved for private use. We also provide a free laundry room. Activities include disc golf, horseshoes, golf cart rentals, hiking, and basketball. Lake Nacogdoches is just four miles down the road.
