Join us as we honor Our Blessed Mother at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival on Sunday, December 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Festival Park in Nacogdoches. This celebration commemorates the apparitions of Mary to Juan Diego in Mexico City in 1531.
The event will begin at Clint Dempsey soccer complex at 9 a.m. with a horse procession to Festival Park. Beginning at 10 a.m., a reenactment of the apparitions of Mary to Juan Diego will take place. Following the reenactment, the Holy Mass in Spanish will begin at 10:30 a.m. This will be the only Spanish Mass in Nacogdoches county on this day. After Mass, you can enjoy authentic Mexican food as well as Aztec dancing, a volleyball tournament, and bounce houses for the kids. Come enjoy this family friendly celebration for all ages as we celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe feast day.
