The Salvation Army of Nacogdoches is holding its first ever Duck Derby "HOPE FLOATS FUN-RAISER".
You can adopt a duck(s) for $5 each or there or several other options available for multiple ducks. At 5:45 pm the ducks will hit the Lazy River in Splash Kingdom Timber Falls, and everyone will cheer their favorite duck to victory.
The winner of the Duck Derby wins a "Summer of Family Fun Bucket" that includes a Family 4 Pack to Splash Kingdom, 4 tickets to The Event on Main and more summertime goodies.

The Salvation Army of Nacogdoches will also be hosting a "Duckiest Duck in Nacogdoches" competition at the Duck Derby for big, decorated ducks that are sponsored by local businesses.
