Time: 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Location(s):

Details

As part of National Trails Day through the American Hiking Society, Nacogdoches Historic Sites will host their annual Hike through History, where participants will take a hike through historic neighborhoods, trails and areas with significant stories.

UPDATE: We are changing the route for Saturday's Hike through History to be a historic walk around downtown. The tour will begin from the Nacogdoches CVB Saturday June 22nd at 8am and will take a route around the north side of downtown. There will be quick tours of the Masonic Lodge and the Durst-Taylor House.

The tour will be lead by Jeff Abt who will share information and stories about various buildings and sites around downtown. We will stop at the cherished "Storytellers Statue" to talk about Dr. Ab Abernethy.

The route will be on pavement and will be around a mile. We will have water available at the CVB and at a few stops along the way. We encourage participants to dress for the weather (Sunny, temps between 77 and 87 degrees. 64% humidity).

If you haven't already registered, please call/text your name to 936-560-4441.

See you Saturday morning!
