Downtown Nacogdoches turns into a scene from a Hallmark movie. The streets are lined with families, Christmas lights sparkle, and local organizations put on a show with decorated floats. The theme this year is Christmas Around the World!

Parade Float Information

We are excited to launch signups for this year's Lighted Christmas Parade!
Our theme this year is..... CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD!

Here's how you sign up:
Complete the usual Parade Entry Form, available at the link below, or by calling Nacogdoches Area United Way at 936-564-5869.
The entry form and payment can be turned in at the Visitor's Center downtown (200 E. Main Street) or by mail to the address listed on the form. Please turn in your entry form by November 21st.

As you look ahead to this year’s Christmas Parade downtown, we’d like to make you aware of some changes to this year’s route due to ongoing construction in the Mound/Park Street area.
This year’s parade will start on Mound Street and travel through the downtown area before heading down Pecan Street. The suggested primary viewing area for residents will be in Festival Park, which the route will circumvent as it travels down Pecan Street, across Craven and back up through South Fredonia Street. The parade will then take Main Street over to Mound Street, where it will wrap up in the area of Thomas J. Rusk Elementary School. A map of the route for this year’s parade is attached, with the new route outlined in orange.
